Drinking water preparation

The activated carbons produced by NWC CARBON RUS are widely applied in water preparation as an adsorbent, mainly used to improve the organoleptic properties of water by removing any unpleasant flavours, odours, and colours.

Activated carbon develops a porous structure which increases its surface area, rendering it more effective for removing the free chlorine, organohalogen compounds, and high and low molecular organic compounds which determine the organoleptic properties of water.
